Key responsibilities:
Develop strategy and plan to make sure the resources and capability within the team can support the growth of the business
Lead the Risk Engineering Team to plan and deliver first class risk consultancy services to Clients
While the department is a cost center, the Leader should work with account management team to develop some revenue opportunity and support new business bidding
Conducts on-site risk engineering surveys for existing and prospective clients, as required by clients, or underwriters
Provide risk engineering findings or survey reports for Clients, and/or Underwriters following the regulations or guidelines
Consult with clients on ways to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses and look for technically sound opportunities for improvement in line with the slients objectives and clearly articulate these opportunities in a report. Consistently influences clients to implement suggested opportunities
Act as the internal BCP Leader
Preferred Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor or Master of degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other similiar technical related degree is highly preferred
At least 15 years risk engineering related experience in Broker, Underwriter, or Consulting Firm, or Corporate
Qualified engineer preferably with high tech, or semi-conductor industry experience
Share an interest in risk management, and help clients to lessen their risks
At least 3 years leadership experience
Capable of understanding technical plans and able to convey complex information clearly
Have an interest in commercial risk prevention management, and/or the field of health and safety
Enjoy working with different types of people and visiting different work environments
Fluent English
